cooling, and reduces the caking phenomenon of modified barium metaborate in storage. So the actual product is this modified barium metaborate, modified barium

metaborate contains a certain amount of silicon dioxide and crystal water, the theoretical chemical formula is Ba(BO2)•H2O. With a relative molecular weight of

241.0, commercial pigments contain at least 90% barium metaborate [Ba(BO)2•H2O]. The modified barium metaborate product is composed of crystalline

particles, the particle size range of the commodity generally fluctuates in 0.35 ~ 35μm, the average particle size is about 8μm, the effective particle size is 3μm,

the modified barium metaborate has dehydration phenomenon, but it is not fully hygmomorph, nor will it absorb water from the air. When it is heated to 1050℃,

the modified barium metaborate is slightly soluble in water, and the solubility is up to 0.4% in water at 21℃, and the general typical product is 0.3%, which is

easily soluble in hydrochloric acid. It has anti-rust, anti-powder, anti-mildew, high temperature resistance and flame retardant effect.
