N-methylpyrrolidone, referred to as NMP, is a highly polar aprotic transfer solvent, the appearance of colorless transparent or slightly yellow oily liquid, slightly amine odor, mild irritation to the skin. GBL is dehydrogenated by BDO and then reacts with methylamine to produce NMP.
nmp is the only solvent for positive pvdf adhesives. nmp is toxic and carcinogenic, consumes more energy than water by evaporation, and requires solvent recovery systems in industrial applications.
N-methylpyrrolidone synthesis process
NMP-10 from Shanghai Yearn Chemical is an electronic grade N-methylpyrrolidone. NMP-10 high content, good color, low moisture and impurity content, in line with the current national standard GB/T275632011.
Electronic grade NMP is mainly used for the preparation of lithium battery cathode material paste and conductive paste, and can also be used in medicine, gel removal liquid solvent, resin synthesis solvent, PUD co-solvent, PUR cleaning agent, etc.
