PVP used in Barcode printing
Special objects such as ID cards and other types of certificates are identified by the barcodes on them. To ensure that the certificates do not go wrong, causing misunderstandings or serious errors, the production of barcodes must be excellent, accurate and error-free, and their service life sometimes exceeds several decades. To meet these requirements, the production of certificates is achieved through a special magnetic ink. The main components of this ink are magnetic powder, adhesive and organic solvents. PVP, which is added as an adhesive component, can increase the adhesion stability of barcodes and form a uniform barcode film on synthetic paper and artificial film as the base material of barcodes. Make the edges of the barcode neat and firm, and not easy to be damaged. The combined use of PVP and polyethylene glycol yields better results.
