Specification
Montmorillonite is a layered mineral composed of extremely fine-grained hydrated aluminosilicates, also known as colloidite and microcrystalline kaolinite. It is the main component of bentonite which is transformed by volcanic condensate rocks and other igneous rocks in alkaline environment.
Application:
Montmorillonite has been widely used in medicine, feed, veterinary medicine, breeding and other fields, especially in animal husbandry, where it is used to stop diarrhea, remove mold and bacteria, purify water, stop bleeding and reduce inflammation, and resist stress. Montmorillonite is a green, natural and environmentally friendly product without any toxic side effects.
The organic complex of montmorillonite is prepared by its cation exchange property, which is widely used in high temperature grease, rubber, plastic and paint. Using its adsorption properties, it can be used for refining, decolorizing and detoxifying edible oil, purifying petroleum, treating nuclear waste, and treating sewage. It can be used as a binder for casting sand and so on. Its dispersion suspension is used in drilling mud. Since many properties of sodium montmorillonite are better than those of calcium montmorillonite, the cation exchange properties of montmorillonite are often used to transform calcium montmorillonite into sodium montmorillonite. Montmorillonite is widely used in medicine, can be used as a pharmaceutical carrier, the effect of controlled release agent, in the field of medicine, there are mature products montmorillonite powder, almost become a synonym of montmorillonite, play an anti-diarrhea effect. Montmorillonite has a good application in livestock (pigs, rabbits) breeding, especially the yellow and white dysentery of young and Suckling pigs, and the diarrhea of rabbits, which plays a preventive role. In view of the characteristics of montmorillonite, it can also be used as the best feed mold removal agent of choice. Montmorillonite, as an auxiliary feed additive, has been widely used in livestock and poultry breeding abroad by virtue of its natural properties and compound functions. In the United States, the use of montmorillonite as animal feed accounts for 2.14% of the total consumption, in Armenia has accounted for 5.47%, it can not only compensate animal nutrients, improve the production performance of livestock and poultry, but also regulate the CP flow in animals, has a certain role in preventing digestive tract diseases.
